Using Comutrack
Comutrack is a manual trip, fuel and charging tracker with a community feed. By creating an account or using the app or comutrack.com, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. You must be old enough to hold a driver's licence where you live, or be using Comutrack with a parent's or guardian's permission.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Use a name and @handle that don't impersonate someone else or mislead people.
- Guest accounts can lose their data if you sign out or remove the app before linking an email, Apple or Google account.
Drive safely
Don't use Comutrack while driving. Start a trip before you set off and end it after you've parked, or let a passenger do it. Always follow traffic laws and road conditions over anything the app shows.
Estimates, not advice
Distance, efficiency, cost, traffic and range figures come from what you enter, your phone's GPS, AI reading of photos and third-party estimates. They can be wrong. Check values read from receipts and documents before you save them. Don't rely on Comutrack for anything safety-critical, for tax or reimbursement claims without checking the originals, or as a record of your vehicle's registration.
Your content
You own what you post. By sharing a post, photo, comment or car card in Comutrack, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within Comutrack and on its web links (for example comutrack.com/p/…), only to run the service. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies others have already re-shared or that remain briefly in backups.
Only post photos and text you have the right to share.
Community rules
Don't use Comutrack to:
- harass, threaten, dox or impersonate anyone;
- post other people's plate numbers, faces or locations in a way that identifies or targets them;
- post hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content, or promote dangerous driving or racing on public roads;
- spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or get around the security of the service;
- falsify trips or scores to win challenges.
We can remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Report anything to support@comutrack.com.
Challenges
Challenges and leaderboards are for fun. Scores are self-reported from your logged trips, and unless we say otherwise in writing, there are no prizes. We may adjust or remove entries that look implausible.
Paid features
Core tracking is free. If we add paid features, the price and terms will be shown before you buy, and purchases through the App Store or Google Play follow their refund rules.
Ending your account
You can stop using Comutrack and delete your account at any time (see support). We can suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. We may change or discontinue features; if we shut Comutrack down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice to export your data.
Liability
Comutrack is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from relying on estimates in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If we change them in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Questions: support@comutrack.com.
